Columbia, Md. – June 6, 2007 – Quality Associates, Inc., an established provider of services and solutions for document management, imaging and archiving, announced that it successfully completed delivery on a centralized digital document management system for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) based in Reston, Va. The comprehensive state-of-the-art document imaging and management system built by Quality Associates is comprised of high-volume scanners, advanced business software, and a high-capacity server.
The new system enables staff within the Agency’s Office of Accounting and Financial Management to quickly scan incoming invoices, employee travel vouchers, and other financial statements. After being scanned, the images are automatically converted into searchable PDFs, which are then saved onto a designated networked server where they can be accessed by authorized staff members.
