With more than 25 years helping organizations of all sizes begin their digital transformation journey, Ron Thompson, Jr. is the Vice President and General Manager, of the Intelligent Information Management (IIM) Practice for Konica Minolta Business Solutions (KMBS) U.S.A., Inc. He is accountable for the entire IIM practice, including—but not limited to—sales, delivery, support and P&L management. He also co-leads the global IIM practice for Konica Minolta, Inc.
A member of senior leadership for the company, Mr. Thompson focuses on ensuring his team is passionate about their work and that clients value the solutions and services KMBS provides. His oversight has ensured that these crucial objectives of employee and customer satisfaction have been the key drivers of the KMBS IIM culture. Using these ideologies, he successfully has built a core foundation that allows the practice to adapt and evolve in the rapidly changing technological industry.
He initially joined KMBS in 2019 as Vice President of Sales before serving in his current role. Prior to KMBS, Mr. Thompson owned his own consulting company, which concentrated on Intelligent Information Management and successfully sold that organization in 2012.

Scott Swidersky serves as Vice President of the Intelligent Information Management (IIM) Practice, Konica Minolta Business Solutions, U.S.A., Inc. and President of its division Quality Associates, Inc. (QAI). As a member of the executive leadership team, Mr. Swidersky is involved in the overall management and direction of the organization.
With more than 20 years of experience in the document management field, Mr. Swidersky holds a deep understanding of integrated solutions. He joined QAI in 1997 to launch the company’s Information Systems Division. The group provides comprehensive, customized software, services and solutions that support all aspects of knowledge and content management.
Under Mr. Swidersky’s leadership, the division quickly matured into a full-service systems integrator and value-added reseller (VAR). He also established the division as a proven, reliable partner to organizations requiring innovative document management and IIM solutions. Today, the division actively partners with, and receives awards and recognition from, the most widely regarded names in the enterprise document management field, including Kodak Alaris, Kofax, Fujitsu and many more.
In 2008, Mr. Swidersky played a key role in forming the QAI subsidiary, DocPoint Solutions. The firm provides a full range of consultative services, support and software for IIM, with a specific focus on providing Microsoft SharePoint to organizations that are looking to expand employee collaboration, advance the availability of knowledge and increase information exchange across the enterprise. Like its parent company QAI, DocPoint Solutions is a certified GSA Federal Supply Service (FSS) contract holder.
Mr. Swidersky holds a bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville University and is an active member of the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM).
Senior Director, Contracts and Facility Security Officer
Michael Pitts is the senior director of contracts and facility security officer at Quality Associates, Inc. (QAI). In this role, Mr. Pitts is responsible for managing all contract vehicles and partner agreements. In addition, he manages all facility security requirements, including all reviews and audits, as well as manages all staff security clearances, confidentiality agreements, visit letters and authorizations.
Mr. Pitts joined QAI in 2002 and has more than 30 years of experience in networking, programming and systems integration. Before joining QAI, he spent 12 years with Universal Hi-Tech Development in Rockville, Maryland. There, he held various executive positions, including senior vice president of the company’s New Business Group, where he was responsible for the overall technical direction and growth of the company.
Earlier, Mr. Pitts held managerial positions at RJO Enterprises, EER Systems and Ford Aerospace, where he served as a networking and technology consultant to area businesses and government organizations.
Mr. Pitts holds a Master of Science in engineering management from The Johns Hopkins University and two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Maryland.
Director, Inside Sales
Tiffani Mitchell is the Director of Inside Sales with Quality Associates, Inc. (QAI) and DocPoint Solutions. With more than 20 years in the industry, Ms. Mitchell has been a long-time member of the corporate team—successfully supporting client relationships with her extensive experience in records and content management. Since joining the company in 2006, she has held a variety of account management roles. Currently, Ms. Mitchell oversees some of the company’s most strategic client and partner relationships while managing successful end-to-end intelligent information management (IIM) programs.
Additionally, she plays a key role offering senior support to the greater account executive team for maximizing client satisfaction across the company’s extensive client base. Innovatively blending people and process, Ms. Mitchell knows how to get the job done right the first time, every time.
Prior to joining QAI, Ms. Mitchell served as a senior project manager for SoureCorp.
Ms. Mitchell has her Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Additionally, she is a Nintex certified sales professional. Outside of Ms. Mitchell’s passion for content management and process improvement, she enjoys being on the water and spending time with her daughters.
Manager and Controller, Accounting and Finance
As manager of accounting and finance for Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. and controller for Konica Minolta’s Intelligent Information Management (IIM) division, Quality Associates, Inc. (QAI), Dale George manages the day-to-day financial operations as well as the strategic budgeting and forecasting functions for QAI, DocPoint Solutions and Quality Assurance Consultancy, a division of QAI.
As a member of the management team, Mr. George is responsible for the overall financial management of the organization. In his current role, he oversees all financial operations (billing/invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and collections), accounting and treasury functions. Mr. George also manages the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting as well as the internal financial controls processes. In addition, he manages the annual budgeting and planning process.

Senior Consultant and M-19-21 Advisor, Intelligent Information Management Practice
John Burgess is a senior consultant and M-19-21 advisor in the Intelligent Information Management (IIM) Practice of Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. and its Quality Associates, Inc. (QAI) division. As an accomplished executive and leading industry advisor with more than 20 years of experience in the document management and Intelligent Information Management field, Mr. Burgess is a member of the Konica Minolta IIM Practice. He works with both federal and civilian organizations across the country to develop innovative records management strategies that leverage best practices and evolving technologies for successful paper-to-cloud digital transformations. Most recently, Mr. Burgess draws upon his extensive understanding of the document record lifecycle to develop and put in place plans that address the complex M-19-21 compliance requirements issued by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
Prior to joining QAI, he served as lead consultant for Ricoh, USA, where he focused on enterprise electronic content and records management programs that increased performance, advanced continuous quality improvement and delivered tangible business value.
Mr. Burgess holds a bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College, Pennsylvania.
Consultant and Advisor, Intelligent Information Management Practice
Doug Yates is an accomplished executive and advisor in the Intelligent Information Management (IIM) Practice of Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. and its Quality Associates, Inc. (QAI) division, along with its affiliate, DocPoint Solutions.
As a consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, he is a seasoned expert in document/records management, process improvement and related business technology. Currently, Mr. Yates is responsible for managing and improving client relationships nationwide by helping organizations better leverage their technology investments. Relying on his expertise to analyze complex environments and challenges, Mr. Yates understands a collaborative approach and a strong commitment to the customer/employee experience is essential within an organization to successfully improve document/records management, processes and security.
Prior to joining the company, he served in leadership positions and consultative roles, working in both the private and public sectors to advance solutions for managed IT, collaboration, business technology and document/records management.
National Technical Director of BPO Services
Chris Swidersky is the national technical director of business process outsourcing (BPO) services for Quality Associates, Inc. (QAI).
Mr. Swidersky joined QAI in 1997 and has served in a variety of senior technical roles since then. Currently, he provides personnel management and is the lead systems integrator on projects for QAI’s broad client base, which includes federal, state and local government agencies as well as financial, accounting and law firms and medical research facilities. Mr. Swidersky has worked with many local and national clients, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the American Psychological Association, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Maryland State Department of Education, the Howard County Government and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Mr. Swidersky holds a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and an Associate of Science degree from Frederick Community College.
Design and Marketing Communications Manager
As a Graphic Design and Marketing Manager, Nicol Regan is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of graphic design and marketing activities within the company. She plays a crucial role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote products or services and enhance brand awareness.
With more than 25 years of graphic design experience, Mrs. Regan has a keen eye for creating visually appealing and engaging designs for various marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, social media posts, website graphics, and advertisements. Ensuring consistency in branding and design elements across all platforms. She also plays a key role in developing and implementing marketing plans and strategies to achieve business objectives as well as planning, organizing, and coordinating marketing projects, events/conferences and webinars, ensuring timely delivery and success.
Mrs. Regan has served as both an account executive and art director for Nicol Regan Creative and as a Senior Graphic Designer for Colquitt Design. She is a graduate of Towson University and holds a Master of Arts in Publication Design from the University of Baltimore. She enjoys city living in Mount Vernon Baltimore with her family, being on the beach, and planning parties.
