Quality Associates President and Founder named Entrepreneur of the Year by Howard County

Fulton, Md. – Quality Associates, Inc. (QAI) www.qualityassociatesinc.com, an established provider of services and solutions for large-scale document management, imaging, and e-archiving, is pleased to announce that its Founder and President, Paul Swidersky, was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Howard County Maryland Chamber of Commerce. Paul Swidersky will receive the award during a formal celebration and dinner at the Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Maryland, on Friday, October 2, 2009.

Howard County Chamber of Commerce President Pam Klahr said, “Several of our board members knew Paul’s background, but upon further research we found an even greater, more compelling story. Paul’s story is that of small beginnings and demonstrates how a lot of hard work and determination has resulted in significant growth for Quality Associates. In 1986, Paul Swidersky started Quality Associates to provide quality assurance and regulatory consulting services to the pharmaceutical and agrichemical industries. The company grew steadily, and in 1996 entered into the document conversion and digital content management business. Twenty years after its founding, in 2006, the company relocated to an upscale state-ofthe-art facility within the Maple Lawn business park in Fulton, Maryland. Today, Quality Associates employs more than 85 and serves federal, state, and local governments, and all types of private industries. In April 2008, Quality Associates established a new subsidiary, DocPoint Solutions, which specializes in Microsoft SharePoint applications.
