Quality Associates is pleased to announce that it is working with Maxim Health Systems. Based in Columbia, Maryland, Maxim is known as the largest community immunizer in the country and administered more than 3 million immunizations through approximately 47,000 locations nationwide.
Maxim must process millions of medical consent and claims forms that are filled out
by hand by inoculation recipients. With such a high volume of forms, it comes as no surprise
that these documents can be incomplete, inaccurate, illegible and or even damaged.
Like many health services providers, Maxim sought to provide accurate, complete
information to ensure timely reimbursement from insurance providers.
Now, with the help of QAI, Maxim is taking a complete, state-of-the-art approach to
data management. QAI replaced manual information capture processes with a Web-based
information capture, storage and retrieval system. The customized integration incorporated
many different facets of document imaging – from initial document scanning and quality
control to the delivery of high-quality searchable images and data.
By implementing innovative technology, Maxim benefits from faster turnaround for
forms processing. And because Maxim is reimbursed in a timely manner and far fewer
claims are denied due to improved data accuracy and higher quality images, Maxim is
increasing its bottom line. Looking ahead, Maxim will benefit from having a scalable solution
that will continue to grow with its needs. Now, Maxim can focus on running its business—
not on entering data and resubmitting medical claims forms.
Quality Associates was a finalist for top honors at this year’s 2008 Channel Connection Awards,
which recognize the top value-added reseller or systems integrator for an outstanding content
management installation that demonstrates integration complexity and delivers ROI.
Quality Associates was named a Channel Connection finalist for building a Web-based
information capture, storage and retrieval system for Maxim Health Systems. With the new
system, Maxim Health Systems is improving data accuracy and eliminating manual keying of
repetitive information, which releases staff to focus more on patient care rather than filling
out repetitive forms and resubmitting medical claims forms.
Quality Associates wishes to thank Maxim Health Systems and the entire production
staff for this honor!
