Employee Spotlight

George Demetrides

Exceptional employees, as it is often said, “wear many hats.” These individuals can readily pull from their wealth of experience to successfully handle a wide range of projects.

Quality Associates’ project manager George Demetrides is this type of employee.

Whether a project involves document scanning and management, conversion of VHS tapes to DVD format or CD reproduction, Demetrides has the ability and knowledge to manage many types of projects.

Demetrides joined Quality Associates in March 2001 and has worked on several large-scale projects during his tenure. Currently, Demetrides manages an information capture, storage and retrieval project for Maxim Health Systems. For the project, Demetrides works with Andrew Rampolla, a systems integrator and technology expert, who has been an integral part of the effort.

Demetrides handles the day-to-day operations of this high-volume project. His duties include managing a staff of more than 50, performing regular client liaison, and helping to ensure that timelines are met.

Prior to joining Quality Associates in a full-time role, Demetrides worked as a contractor on an ongoing project. “Being initially hired and promoted from within has been extremely rewarding. And all of the previous projects where I gained experience really helped me develop my skills and provided a wealth of opportunities for me to learn,” he says.

According to Demetrides, one of the most enjoyable aspects of working at Quality Associates is “being able to witness the dynamic growth of the company from 2001 to where we are now. That has been an amazing experience.”

Quality Associates would like to say “HATS OFF!” to George Demetrides for his continued efforts!
