Visioneer Names Quality Associates, Inc. as First Federal e4e Reseller

Quality Associates is First Qualified Reseller to Offer New eCapture for eRoom Document Scanning Solution to Federal Agencies

Quality Associates, Inc. an established provider of services and solutions for document management, imaging and archiving, has announced that it has been named by Visioneer as the first federal reseller of eCapture for eRoom (e4e). The e4e product is a one-touch document scanning solution for organizations and enterprises using EMC Documentum’s eRoom®, a secure, Web-based workspace with virtual “rooms” for electronic collaboration.

By turning to Quality Associates, federal agencies will be better able to transition from their reliance on paper documentation to paperless, electronic documentation. Industry analysts are forecasting that spending on knowledge management solutions by the federal government will continue to increase, surpassing $1 billion by 2008.

This designation allows Quality Associates to provide federal agencies with advanced, time-saving e4e scanning and archiving hardware and software solutions. Jointly developed by Visioneer Inc., a leader in intelligent imaging solutions, and Daybreak Intellectual Capital Solutions, Inc., a Documentum Select Services team member and premier provider of custom Documentum solutions, the eCapture for eRoom solution is comprised of a GSA-compliant Strobe XP 470 scanner and software that allows users to easily and quickly scan paper documents and then save them into an EMC Documentum eRoom in a variety of useful, searchable formats, including PDF, JPEG, and BMP.
